TASTE is an innovative recruitment consultancy positioned since 2004 in the market of expert executives (middle-top management).
Our client is an international group, developing its activity with the aim of creating new products that clean and care for their consumers’ children.
Until now, the company has been working with a major Pharma distributor to ensure the presence of its brands on the French market. In order to gain market shares, we are looking for a new Business Development Manager M/F to oversee and execute the commercial strategy with this distributor, as well as developing new channels to diversify the company’s targets.
You will be reporting directly to the Sales Director. With an ambitious growth plan in place, this role will be given the autonomy and accountability to give substance to the commercial objectives and strategy.
In this context, you will be responsible for:
- Deploying the company’s category vision in pharma France
- Implementing the hybrid model with our French pharma distributor by increasing our network with key customers
- Increasing our numeric and weighted distribution in Pharma France
- Listing new products with existing customers
- Developing new channels in France for our brand (Kiosks, catering, duty free, petrol stations, elderly, kindergartens, sports stores…)
- Ensuring accurate and timely forecasting of sales within standard procedures, as well as in-market stock levels and ordering pipeline.
- Developing the client’s network at all levels in France.
- Working closely with the different functions to develop the business and execute the sales strategy.
- Strategic account management: Identify and develop new business opportunities in France.
- Managing the day-to-day business by working in synergy with our partners.
- Taking charge and following up on marketing activities by collaborating with the brand activation team.
- Analysing the performance and building a strong action plan to develop the sales.
- Monitoring and reporting competition and market intel.
- Bringing relevant shopper and category insights and shape them into actionable in-store executions and activities.
- Leveraging business analytics to influence customer and company decision-making at top-to-top levels, utilizing internal/customer business systems.
You have a Master’s degree in Sales, from a business school or university. You have at least 8 years of experience in sales with expertise in negotiation as well as field management for the pharma market in France. Ideally, the candidate has already worked with distributors. Knowledge of other channels is a plus.
You are used to moving in agile environments and are recognised for your entrepreneurial spirit. You are ambitious, resilient and like a challenging context. You are proactive, and demonstrate motivation and commitment on a daily basis. You’re motivated by spending time with customers and develop strong relationships, as with distributors and partners.
Regarding the international scope of the role, fluent English is necessary to interact with the different partners of the group. Fluent French is also necessary.
