Following a major fundraising round and continued strong growth, we are seeking a
Business Developer F/M based in California.
Key responsabilitesYou will report directly to the International Sales Director.
In this role, you will operate independently while maintaining a collaborative, positive mindset and supportive approach to expanding your network. Your core duties will involve:
- Sales Prospecting (85% of the time) : As a hunter, you identify opportunities, contact qualified leads and meet with potential clients in order to generate new business. You'll manage the follow-ups trough to closing, as well as their retention.
- Client portfolio management: You are the key contact in your area, handle deliveries and equipment installations when needed, while building strong relationships with your clients and partners.
- Reporting and activity tracking: You daily report activites and update your pipeline through the CRM, in order to measure your KPI and assist the accounting team with payment tracking when needed.
- Events: Occasionally, you participate in events and trade shows.
About you
You have at least 5 years of professional experience in selling high-value products, preferably in B2B.
You have a strong interest in both wine sector and new technologies.
You are known for your autonomy, high energy and resilience, and your friends would describe you as enthusiastic. With a strong customer focus, you excel at collaborating effectively with different teams, including technical and after-sales service teams.
Knowledge of French is a plus but not essential.
